I met Iliana Gogos through a mutual friend, after I mentioned my concept for the launch videos. After describing the brief, my friend’s words were something along the lines of “I know the person you’re looking for!” Iliana loves Melbourne, and as she describes in her video, there’s much to love. In fact, she says it’s impossible to get bored here! Her name reflects her Greek heritage, appropriate for Melbourne, home to the largest Hellenic population outside of Greece itself.

Rijn Collins, in my humble opinion, is one of Melbourne’s writing scene’s rising stars. Her sumptuous words describe not just the city she loves, but also her experience of it, and how Melbourne has shaped the work she produces. I love catching up with her whenever our schedules align – I would be lying if I said that her dedication and self-motivation for her writing hadn’t in part inspired me to do what I am doing.
