With Melbourne’s Good Food Month in full swing, now is the time to get down to Alexandra Gardens in the shadow of the city skyline and try the Night Noodle Markets.

Already a hit in Sydney, the noodle markets have been a feature of the harbour city’s Good Food Month since the late 1990s. This year marks the market’s debut in Melbourne, and is already attracting a steady stream of foodies and Asian culture enthusiasts.

More than twenty-five food stalls are organised in the style of an Asian hawker market, with restaurants represented such as Chin Chin, Longrain, and our personal favourite Mamak.

The Night Noodle Markets began tonight and will run for two weeks until the end of the month. For more information about the markets, or for any other related culinary events taking place this month, head to Melbourne Good Food Month’s website.
