A temporary ice skating rink is to open at Sydney’s Circular Quay today as part of the touring Winter Festival.

Known as Ice at Circular Quay, the rink will sit in the square directly outside the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Festival entrance is free, while entry to the rink of $20 for an adult, or $13 for children. The nearby Cruise Bar has been brought on board as hospitality partner for the event.

Sydney  and Winter Festivals are promoting the event as a glamorous festival, where patrons will be able to skate on ice with the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge as a backdrop.

Ice at Circular Quay is set to open today, and run until 10th July. For more information, go to Sydney.com.
