Iranian (Persian) food is not as well known across the globe as its more popular neighbours in Indian and Arabic cuisine, but for those who wander across the Gulf there is a vastly different world of dishes with subtle flavours and time-honoured recipes.

I recently had the opportunity to work with India’s number 1 travel blog Romancing the Planet. Founder Sai Karthik Reddy Mekala wrote about the wonders of the Malaysian kitchen for UrbanDuniya a few months ago, so I decided to spill the beans on one of my favourites; Persian cooking!
