Tomorrow the annual MS Colour Dash will take place in Melbourne and Sydney, with parallel events held in Canberra and Hobart.

A five kilometre run or walk, the event aims to raise money to support Australians living with multiple sclerosis.

Similar to the Hindu holi festival, at the conclusion of each kilometre a ‘colour station’ will shower participants with “rainbow dust”. At the end of the five kilometres, participants will appear technicolour vision at a very festive finish line where there will be food, drinks and music.

Participants are encouraged to turn up to the race in a white shirt or t-shirt, so the coloured powder will begin painting on a blank canvas – at the very least, don’t wear your favourite outfit, because things will get VERY vivid!

The Melbourne route takes in large swathes of Docklands’ waterfront promenade, while the Sydney event starts and finishes near the Chinese Gardens, following the shore of Darling Harbour.

Thanks for reading Agness! I’m planning to go to Holi festivities later this year in Australia, but I don’t think I’ll make it to the colour dash tomorrow 🙁
