We love reading, and a good book can really make a holiday. It can also inspire us to travel, or transport us away to another world from the comfort of our armchair at home! It’s no secret that books of many varieties inspire travellers and travel bloggers, and that inside many a travel blogger resides a dormant (or perhaps active) writer! Ashray and Zara from Backpack Me have scoured the blogosphere to bring us the best travel books which have inspired the best travel writers – and UrbanDuniya was invited to the party! Click here to read more!

Ashray and Zara are best friends, travel companions, musicians, partners in crime and much more! They describe themselves as travellers with a mission to circle the globe! Through their blog Backpack Me they want to share their adventure with us!

I love that book! And I’ve read a few others by the same author. Great choice!

Thanks Katie! I’ve also read A Thousand Splendid Suns (devastating), but I’ve got And The Mountains Echoed… still haven’t found the time to read it yet! Maybe over the Christmas break…
