The annual Sydney Underground Film Festival kicks off today, with this year’s program offering a program of over 30 alternative films.

Held at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville, the festival will open with Alejandro Jodorowsky’s “surrealistic” autobiographical film The Dance of Reality.

Limelight Magazine reports that the 2013 program also include Chilean director Sebastián Silva’s Magic Magic, American musician and director Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem, and the surprisingly honest  documentary How To Make Money Selling Drugs with Freeway Ricky Ross and Susan Sarandon. Also listed is Poor Little Rich Girls (After Warhol), a reworking of Andy Warhol’s 1965 film Poor Little Rich Girl.
