A selfie taken at Kelimutu in Indonesia

Whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying that “selfies” have changed the way many of us share our holiday experiences. Sometimes they are taken through necessity, sometimes they are tongue-in-cheek, and they’re almost homogenous in their gratuitous narcissism.

In that spirit, and for better or for worse, we contributed to a collaborative post with our friends over at eTramping.com celebrating 55 travel selfies from around the world. YOLO, I guess…

Looking good and very brave at a volcano 😉

I also love to travel to such places and hope one day will. Actually I want to work with people like Sir David Frederick Attenborough, Michael Palin, and Simon Reeve.
