    Oh fantastic! I did wonder where Canberra got the idea to run a similar event. Of course it was Melbourne. 🙂 The Cathedral looks incredible, Flinders Street looks pretty fab too. Looks like a brilliant event, will have to pop in my 2016 calendar.

    Wow, I’ve never hear of this event. Does it happen only once a year?
    It reminds me a little bit of the Festival of Lights I saw in Berlin, that was a bit different though and it lasted for about 10 days, have you ever seen it?

      Yes, just once a year, normally the last weekend on February. This was its third year. I believe Rome, Paris and St Petersburg also have White Night events! I’ll search for the the Berlin Festival of Lights – sounds similarly enticing!

    Nice set of photos Tim and of course I recognise a few since I was there 🙂

    2015 was certainly better than 2014 although a few exhibits left me a little bewildered to say the least.

    I thought the animation show at Carlton Gardens was superb and the highlight for me this year.
